Captain Sparky & the Drunken stupids
What a name. It turns out that one of them was called Landrew, another unusual name which I pointed out to the owner was from a Start Trek episode. Spelled Landru, but we're splitting hairs here. Wow, he said & told me I was the 15th person in his life who was aware of that. Waddya know. Anyway, we won a rare toss & the evening looked promising until we started trying to make some balls. Alas...

The Bulldog is still trying to find his footing after his self-imposed exile in the wilderness. Playing a D who can run the occasional rack wasn't gonna help. He played pretty well but lost by 5 racks. Unfortunately, he's still heading towards......
Maharaji played an unbeaten C who started the season as a D (ROFLMAO at that one...). The chap remains unbeaten cuz Skipper couldn't make a moderately difficult 7 ball in the hill-hill rack. And that turned out to be huge cuz....
Lay'ya (captured on film just to the right, courtesy of the blog she has just started), won a tough match against a strong D+. She's been the team rock so far this season. Weasler shot great against another D+ but his W was not a shut-out & we lost on points.
I feel sorry for the Slippah. The only match he's had so far has been against Tony Robles, who isn't such a bad player. We can't seem to get our noses in front after the first two matches to make it mathematically sensible to play him.
We're 1-3, rapidly sinking towards the bottom of the ocean. Who's gonna step up? Someone please. Anyone. Beg. Grovel. etc.... Perhaps next week is the week of the Jessen.
